We put safety first, pursue green mining, and value local employment and community partnership — making every mine a good neighbour.
Robust safety systems and a strong occupational health culture.
Environmental stewardship and disciplined tailings management.
Local-first hiring in Zambia with skills training programmes.
Supporting community development around our operations.
We operate a company-wide safety accountability system, strictly follow mining safety rules and explosives management, and run continuous training, hazard inspections and drills — with 'zero harm' as the goal of every mine. Overseas operations meet standards no lower than local statutory requirements.
We prioritise ecological monitoring and environmental protection throughout the project cycle, manage tailings and waste dumps properly, control air emissions and conserve soil and water, and benchmark ourselves against green-mine standards.
With over 1,000 employees, we have built a talent pipeline spanning mining technology, electromechanics, blasting and management. In Zambia, we hire locally first and run skills training and safety certification programmes to grow local technical and managerial talent.
From our hometown of Fanshan to communities near our overseas mines, we support roads, water, education and livelihoods. After Typhoon Saomai in 2006, Chairman Chen Ruibin mobilised over CNY 3.8 million in donations from fellow workers to support disaster relief at home.
The true value of mining lies not only in the ore we take out, but in the lasting wellbeing it brings to the land and its people.
